The mangosteen tree has its origin in Southeast Asia. For centuries the traditional medical healers of Asia have employed its fruit for its health benefits. The rind was dried, powdered and used to overcome dysentery. Made into an ointment, it was applied to cure skin disorders.

Mangosteen soap is enriched with mangosteen pure natural extract that has antibacterial, antiseptic, and antifungal qualities. The rind of the fruit contains a natural antioxidant agent (the xanthones) which helps reduce skin disorders and prevent acne.
